After removing the updated Stardew Valley from the location you found it, paste the old version of Stardew Valley into the exact same location.Ĥ. Cut and paste Stardew Valley 1.1 (The whole Stardew Valley folder) from the folder location you just opened to your desktop or somewhere else you will remember.ģ. It will be in steamapps\common\ Stardew Valleyįor Gog Galaxy - With GOG Galaxy just right click the game, go to manage installation, show folder.įor manual installation - Right click the shortcut for Stardew Valley whether in your start menu or on your desktop, and click properties, then go to open file location.Ģ. If you don't know where that is then do the followingįor Steam - Right click on Stardew Valley in Steam, and go to properties, then go to the Local Files tab, then "Browse Local Files". If you didn't make a backup before it updated, find and get a copy of Stardew Valley pre 1.1ġa Find your Stardew Valley folder. Do not close any folders I ask you to open during this process until you are finished.ġ. (I have modified this post's title and content since someone else has a list of mods that are working or being updated for 1.1 so I no longer feel it is necessary to post a list of ones that don't.).
I have also updated the procedure to address different installations of the game. If you want your modded saved game to work with 1.1 and are having issues getting it to run, my below procedure is the solution.
